The following is for INFORMATION purposes only. ALL ENTRIES must be done in the Event Official Form. When the Official Premium List is ready it will be automatically mailed to all ARC members. All SPECIAL EVENTS are on a first-come, first-served basis. Use enclosed signup form. It is recommended that you sign up in advance as most events have entry maximums. Any event that has not reached its maximum will be available for signup a the show except the Parades of Titleholders & Rescue. Some events may be open to all breeds with preference for Rottweilers-see below. TIMES are approximate & are subject to change based on the number of entries received. TIMES & LOCATIONS for Special Events will be posted at the Show Site.

A Non-competitive Parade in which the dogs entered MUST have been rescued by their Owners either as a stray, form a recognized facility or from a group/individual dedicated to Rescue work. Dogs taken back by their breeders are not eligible. Dogs are not required to be AKC registered to enter.

Please submit a SHORT biography of the dog including full name, title(s) & name of current owner on a separate piece of paper to

A non-competitive Parade in which the dogs entered may or may not be entered in an event at this show but MUST be holders of a Conformation, Working or Performance Title from a recognized registry. Dogs will receive a Neck Rosette with the dog’s full name & titles on it.

Memory Lane

There will be a Special Section in the Catalog for all Rottweilers that have RECENTLY departed. All dogs are eligible & there is no limit & no charge for this listing.

Dinner will be followed by the Annual Meeting of the American Rottweiler Club.

Cost is $22.00 per person. Dress is Casual.

Top 20 Competition and RHF Fundraiser
Friday evening, March 29^th
Disney's WIDE WORLD OF SPORTS™ Complex

by the Rottweiler Health Foundation at the Sixth Annual Event showcasing the Top 20 (ARC Point System) Rottweilers in the country judged by a three member panel: An AKC Conformation judge, (with a minimum of Working Group judging approval), a Rottweiler Breeder & a Professional Handler. Each dog is scored separately by each person & the results are announced Saturday, March 30, at the Annual Awards Banquet. Also RHF Fundraiser.
Dress is Business to Formal Attire.

& the ARC Annual Awards Ceremony honoring the top performing Rottweilers of the previous year.

ARC Armetale Fundraiser

Each year money is raised to help pay for the next year’s Armetale Trophies. This year there will be a Live Auction to be held at TBA on Thursday evening, 3/28/2002. A Silent Auction will start on Thursday & concludes on Sunday prior to Best Puppy Judging.

RHF Fundraiser

The Rottweiler Health Foundation will be conducting a fundraiser in conjunction with the Top 20 Competition, Friday, March 29 at Disney’s Wide World of Sports™ Complex. Please contact for information on supporting this worthy organization & remember, all donations to the RHF are TAX DEDUCTIBLE!

RRF Fundraiser

This will the 2^nd Annual Fundraiser at the ARC National in support of the Rottweiler Rescue Foundation in conjunction with the ARC Annual Award Banquet on Saturday, March 30^th. All donated items are appreciated and will be run through a “Chinese Auction” giving everyone who purchases Tickets a chance to win the item they want. Tickets go on sale Saturday morning. Items/Donors received by the ad closing date of Monday, February 4, 2002 will be listed in the Show Catalog.

Judges Breed Study Group

The American Rottweiler Club at its National Specialty Show conducts a comprehensive Breed Study Group Saturday and Sunday, March 30 & 31, 2002. The study is open to all current & prospective Rottweiler judges. Please contact Donna Rice at (281) 955-2747

CARTING CLINIC

The instructor will demonstrate & work with participants & their dogs on the proper techniques of training a dog for Carting. There will be a cart available with a limited selection of harnesses.
Dogs must be 6 mos or older.

Volunteers

ARC, GRC and SRC club members are important in the success of this event at Disney’s Wide World of Sports™ Complex. This is the first time that Disney’s Wide World of Sport™ Complex will host a Dog Show. For this reason, YOUR HELP is needed & will go a long way toward making this an UNFORGETTABLE EVENT. Please, look at the list of Committee Chairs and VOLUNTEER some of your time! You will be assigned a work schedule.
