A WORKDAY AT

Volunteers from Gulfstream Rottweiler Club visited the Animal Sanctuary to help build shelters for the many rescue dogs. Others bathed the dogs and cut grass. Here are some shots of this wonderful Saturday. We hope, these pictures will motivate more club members to visit the sanctuary and to help with DONATIONS.

There are so many dogs there, all breeds and mixes. All are spayed/neutered and shots up to date. The Animal Sanctuary is the dream we were all hoping for, a place for our rescue Rottweilers. WE ALL NEED to support this place. It is a beginning, and it will become
WHATEVER "WE" want it to be

The work was to build an outdoor shelter for each paddock. It began by digging and pouring four concrete footings for the shelters.

Without a cement mixer, it had to be done by hand. Cathy Crespo worked hard in hand mixing the cement.

The carpenter, Tracy Sampson, gave up a day of work to help at the sanctuary. Tracy builds pool decks for a living. He proved not only to be a great carpenter but a GUARDIAN ANGEL sent to us by God.

Tracy had helpers, these can make a living as carpenters too. Silvia Davalos, Virginia Gill and Cathy Crespo.

Meanwhile, the dogs are enjoying their pools and watching the workers!

WHAT ARE THE NEXT PROJECTS?

Tracy is going back to build one more shelter. Two were completed on that Saturday.

WE NEED DONORS FOR THE FOLLOWING:

We need SIX donors of $30.00 each to buy six 24x24 concrete blocks to build a flooring for the dogs, their pools and their feed buckets.

We need SIX donors each to buy six TARPS, the sun screen type, to cover the concrete flooring and give shade to the pools and food.
