On May 13, 1987 our club name officially became the
GULFSTREAM ROTTWEILER CLUB OF GREATER MIAMI
We had 55 members

At the general meeting of of February 1988 we voted to adopt a Code Of Ethics



OUR FIRST OBEDIENCE SEMINAR


On September 17th & 18th, 1987 the club hosted a two day seminar with well known dog obedience trainer, judge and author, Bob Self.
The seminar took place at Tree Tops Park, Davie, Florida.


OUR FIRST SPECIALTY SHOW

That same year we were approved to host the 1988 ARC Region IV Specialty to be held in December.

On July 21, 1994, the American Kennel club approved our club for a licensed championship points event! Finally we were OFFICIAL!!


OUR FIRST ANNUAL CANINE OKTOBERFEST

On Sunday, October 23, 1994 we held our first Canine Oktoberfest at Tree Tops Park, Davie, Florida.
We had more than 1000 people with their dogs at the the park and got coverage in the newspapers and several TV stations.

OUR FIRST INDEPENDENT SPECIALTY SHOW

On December 9, 1994 we held its First Independent Specialty at the Dade County Youth Fair Building in Miami, Florida.
