Pet Rescue Groups Honored for Their
Commitment to the Homeless Pet Crisis

Grace Acosta, representing Gulfstream Guardian Angels Rottweiler Rescue
www.ggarr.org
Gulfstream Guardian Angels Rottweiler Rescue (GGARR) was incorporated as a 501(c)(3) in 2002 by a group of Gulfstream Rottweiler Club (GRC) members, an AKC licensed club. GGARR was organized to do any and all business necessary to help Rottweilers in need, including fundraising, procurement of food and shelters, and acquiring the necessary treatments. The dogs are fostered by club members, dog owners in general, but most are boarded at veterinary clinics until they are adopted. In the past year alone, GGARR has fostered and placed approximately 150 Rottweilers and some mixed dogs as well. The organization's motto is "If You Don't Rescue, Don't Breed."
Representing GGARR at this event was Grace
Acosta, President of GGARR and Bill and Carole Dehart who adopted STORMY through
GGARR. The Deharts brought Pa'Lee their Rottweiler rescue.

The group was housed at the Westin Grand Hotel and Stormy took advantage of the
huge bed!
Stormy, a new born was found after Hurricane Wilma with his mother and three
