  It was, as usual, a fantastic event!  I want my first post to be a huge  thank you from the bottom of my heart to the following club members, because without their participation, this would not have been an event our club could participate in this year...

And a special thank you goes to Marie and Tony  Zeak.  http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb001_ZN  Not only did Marie and Tony play host and hostess at Matenja for a post-banquet party, not only did they provide lovely gift bags for all team members (complete with hot fog treats!), not only did they provide the raffle table with beautiful baskets for our club, not only did they make lovely Mimosas for us all after breakfast,  they even provided a beautiful and delicious spread for our lunch...and man were we hungry!  Thank you both so much!!!
 
We had a great time.  My favorite part is actually watching the faces of team members as they watch their team mates in the ring....the encouragement and team spirit is so apparent in their faces.  With all the nonsense we deal with ringside from time to time at "real" AKC events like conformation and obedience, it is so refreshing to see such good  sportsmanship and team spirit at this one. Us working as a REAL team...that is priceless.
